Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka has said that he will not join the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, which is linked to Deputy President William Ruto’s Ford Kenya party. While admitting that he met with Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula, Lusaka clarified that the meeting was “purely a consultative meeting, one of several that I am holding ahead of the Senate’s dissolution as I assess my options ahead of the August 9 elections.” He maintained that he did not announce his membership in FORD Kenya at any point throughout the meeting or conversation. “Let me clarify unequivocally that this is not the case. “Wh…
