Jörgen Graabak became the first Nordic combined skier to win four Olympic gold medals when he anchored Norway to team event success at the Beijing Games on Thursday. Espen Björnstad, Espen Andersen, Jens Luraas Oftebro and Graabak won the event twinning large hill ski-jumping and a 4×5-kilometres cross-country relay ahead of Germany and Japan.
