German Chancellor Olaf Scholz plans to hold talks with US President Joe Biden later on Wednesday, the White House has announced, as intense international diplomacy continues over the Ukraine crisis. The telephone call, set for 1930 GMT, comes after Scholz travelled to Kiev on Monday and then Moscow on Tuesday. During his visits, he met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
