Borussia Mönchengladbach have found a successor for sporting director Max Eberl from within their own ranks. The Bundesliga club announced on Tuesday that Roland Virkus, the 55-year-old former director of their youth development centre, will take the role. The influential Eberl surprisingly quit last month citing fatigue.
