By Matt Hladik During his testimony at the trial of former Angels employee Eric Kay earlier today, MLB pitcher Matt Harvey admitted to using cocaine and opioids. Kay is facing two felonies in relation to the 2019 death of Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs. He is accused of distributing fentanyl to Skaggs, which led to his untimely passing. On the witness stand, Harvey confessed that he both used painkillers and occasionally provided them to his late teammate. He also admitted to consuming cocaine recreationally.
