A man found dead on the grass median along Route 9 in Old Bridge on Tuesday morning is believed by police to have been struck by a hit-and-run driver, authorities said. A passing motorist called police at 6:45 a.m. and notified police about the body, which was located between Spring Valley Road and Ferry Road, Old Bridge police said. The man was described by police as middle-aged, though he has not been identified.
