A teacher, Emeka Nwogbo flogged Obina Udeze on Monday, leaving marks of cane on his body. Udeze then fell sick as a result of the beating and was taken to the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba where his health condition deteriorated until he eventually died on Saturday morning.
