The United States Olympic Committee has claimed figure skater Kamila Valieva’s reprieve to compete at the Winter Games in Beijing “appears to be another chapter in the systemic and pervasive disregard for clean sport by Russia.” Valieva, 15, had the lifting of a provisional suspension over a positive doping test upheld by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Monday.
