One fine day Waltraut “Wally” Rofner told her weaker self to take a hike. Literally. And so that’s what she did: The Austrian went for a ramble in the forest. Now aged 68, she’s been doing it day after day for 30 years. Rofner was born and still lives in the municipality of Weerberg, in the Austrian state of Tyrol, so hiking in the forest isn’t complicated.
