Arminia Bielefeld’s record scorer Fabian Klos will leave the Bundesliga side at the end of the season after 11 years, the club said on Monday. The 34-year-old is not retiring though, saying in a club statement: “My sporting journey will go on somewhere else.” Klos, who has scored 162 goals in 383 competitive games for the club, joined in 2011 from the Wolfsburg second team when Bielefeld were in the third division. They were promoted to the top-flight in 2020 and Klos continued his goalscoring exploits, before struggling this term.
