Today, the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance released data on power battery loading in March and the first quarter of 2022. It is reported that a total of 39 domestic enterprises achieved power battery installation in the month, and the top three were CATL, BYD and China Innovation Airlines, which was the same as February. Specifically, CATL, which ranks first, has an installed capacity of 10.8 GWh, accounting for more than 50%. The company’s lithium iron phosphate battery and ternary battery loading capacity are 7GWh and 3.79GWh respectively, ranking first in China. The market share of power batteries of BYD and China Innovation Aviation in March was 19.2% and 8.5% respectively. Except for these three companies, the market share of other power battery companies does not exceed 5%. Data show that in March this year, my country’s power battery sales were 24.5GWh, a year-on-year increase of 175.3%. In terms of vehicle loading, my country’s power battery loading capacity in March was 21.4Gwh, a year-on-year increase of 138.0%; from January to March, my country’s power battery cumulative loading capacity was 51.3Gwh, a year-on-year increase of 120.7%. Among them, the cumulative loading of ternary batteries was 21.4Gwh, accounting for 41.6% of the total loading, a cumulative increase of 54.4% year-on-year; lithium iron phosphate batteries .
