Germany became the latest nation to advise citizens in Ukraine to leave the country, as fears mount of a possible Russian invasion in the coming days. “If you are currently in Ukraine, check whether your presence is strictly required. If not, leave at short notice,” the Foreign Office in Berlin announced. The United States warned on Friday that it believes Russia could stage a military incursion of its neighbour soon – a claim which Moscow denies. Alongside the US, Britain, Denmark, Latvia and Estonia have called upon their citizens in Ukraine to leave the country.
