Now TP-Link is releasing its first mesh system with Wi-Fi 6E which will be able to deliver speeds up to 5400 Mbps and at the same time cover 510 square meters (with two mesh units in total). It should also be possible to connect 200 devices without affecting performance.
The system also includes AI functions that TP-Link says should optimize coverage depending on the floor plan in the home. There is also a feature the company calls HomeShield that will protect the network, offer parental controls and real-time protection to connected devices. Each device also has three gigabit Ethernet ports.
A two-pack of TP-Links Deco XE75 routers costs “only” $ 300, which is much cheaper than similar systems from Linksys and Netgear, among others. It remains to be seen what the Swedish price lands on.
