On April 12, Google’s new mid-range Pixel 6a appeared on the GeekBench benchmarking website.

The running score page shows,Google’s Pixel 6a surpassed its flagship Pixel 6 in both single-core and multi-core scores.However, the Pixel 6a overtook by a slight advantage, and the two did not widen the gap.

It is reported that the Google Pixel 6a is the same as the Pixel 6.They are all equipped with Google’s custom chip Tensor, which consists of 2 super-large cores, 2 large cores and 4 small cores.

Specifically, the Tensor chip includes 2 Cortex X1 super cores with a CPU frequency of 2.8GHz, 2 Cortex A78 large cores with a CPU frequency of 2.25GHz and 4 Cortex A55 small cores with a CPU frequency of 1.8GHz and a GPU. For ARM Mali-G78 MP20.

Notably,Google Pixel 6a is only equipped with 6GB of memory due to its mid-range positioning, while the high-end flagship Pixel 6 is equipped with 8GB of memory.

In addition, the Google Pixel 6a is pre-installed with the Android 12 operating system from the factory, and the first batch of early adopters of the Android 13 operating system will be available in the second half of this year. The machine may be unveiled at the Google I/O developer conference in May.
