Six-time Olympic luge champion Natalie Geisenberger of Germany has said she is pleasantly surprised by the running of the Beijing Games, after originally having major reservations. Geisenberger had issued harsh criticism of the organization and the treatment of the athletes by Chinese officials during a three-week training camp last autumn, and even considered not competing at the Games.
