European aircraft manufacturer Airbus said on Monday it had received a major order of 80 A320 jets from Asia’s BOC Aviation. Of these, 20 were for the standard A320neo, 50 for the longer A321neo and 10 for the new long-haul version A321XLR. According to BOC Aviation, the aircraft are scheduled for delivery between 2027 and 2029. The Singapore-based aircraft financier is part of the Bank of China.
