A year and a half after the release of the new generation consoles, the essential Diablo III will finally receive an update that will delight the pixel sensitive. Indeed, players were complaining that the game only runs at 1080p on Xbox Series X, but that will soon be history.
Diablo III in native 4k on Xbox Series X
In a communicated published on the Blizzard site, the publisher discussed all the content to come in season 26 of Diablo III. The latter will begin on April 15, a few days after the long-awaited patch.
We learn that as of this Tuesday, in other words April 12, Diablo III will receive an update allowing it to run in native 4K on Xbox Series X, but also in native 1080p on Xbox Series S. This visual comfort is clearly not no refusal for this game which can already boast of a 60 FPS to take full advantage of the action phases and effects galore.
Update 2.7.3: Xbox Series X|S resolution has been updated. Xbox Series X now runs in true 4K resolution and Xbox Series S in true 1080p resolution.
This will allow players to better enjoy this title released almost 10 years ago before the release of the highly anticipated Diablo IV, which has been accelerating its communication for a few months. A few days ago, we discovered 7 environments on video, as well as the presence of no less than 150 dungeons to explore.
