Norway’s Therese Johaug held off a Finnish onslaught to claim a second gold at the Beijing Olympics in one of the closest finishes in cross country skiing on Thursday. Five days after winning the skiathlon by a mile, world champion Johaug edged the 10-kilometres by a mere four-tenths of a second against Kerttu Niskanen. Krista Parmakoski took bronze for two Finnish medals, one-tenth ahead of Russia’s skiathlon silver medallist Natalia Nepryaeva in fourth.
