Remedy Entertainment announces the return of Max Payne to consoles and PC.
Alas, the fans of the first hour will not (yet?) be entitled to a brand new opus by Max Payne. However, Remedy Entertainment announces good news: the development of a remake of the first two opuses of the saga.
Indeed, the Finnish studio is collaborating again with Rockstar (holder of the rights to Max Payne) to create the remake of Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. This redesign in a single title will therefore be developed for PS5, Xbox Series and PC, with Remedy’s very solid in-house engine: Northlight.
We are pleased to announce that we will remake the iconic Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, in a new development agreement with Rockstar Games.

The development of the game will therefore be financed by Rockstar Games. In addition, this remake will benefit from a typical AAA game production, equivalent to large productions from Remedy. For the moment, no release date has been communicated.
