An insider under the nickname heyitsyogesh shared information about the first OnePlus smartphone with a folding display. It’s not as clear cut as we thought.
According to an insider, the alleged OnePlus Fold will be the global version of the Oppo Find N smartphone, which was released for the Chinese market in December 2021. It is worth noting that OnePlus co-founder Pete Lau was directly involved in the development of the Oppo Find N.
OnePlus may slightly change the design of the back panel of the device, but the form factor, hinge and characteristics in general will remain with the Oppo Find N, since these companies, as well as Realme and Vivo, are part of the BBK Electronics holding.
