Petra Vlhova of Slovakia came from far behind on Wednesday to claim Olympic gold in the slalom she has dominated all season. Vlhova was on fire in the second run to win from eighth place in the first, clocking 1 minute 44.98 seconds in Yanqing. It is her second global success following the 2019 giant slalom world title.
