Petra Vlhova of Slovakia came from far behind on Wednesday to claim Olympic slalom gold at the Beijing Games while big American rival Mikaela Shiffrin crashed out again. Vlhova was on fire in the second run to win from eighth place in the first ahead of reigning world champion Katharina Liensberger of Austria and Swiss Wendy Holdener.
