Have you always loved horror movies? Especially those with the summer holiday camps? The Quarry could be for you. You will be able to embody each of the nine animators of the camp in a cinematic experience that you can influence. And if you don’t want to live this adventure as an actor, The Quarry has the solution for you.
A cinema mode for The Quarry
While every decision you make will influence the story, it will also decide who stays alive until the end. You will also be able to share this adventure with up to seven people online who will watch your game. And even better, they will be able to vote for the decisions to be made. It will also be possible to live this experience in collaboration, with one player per character.
If you want to follow this adventure hands-free, The Quarry will offer you a cinema mode. This will allow the player to follow the story without intervening in its progress. In particular, this will allow you to discover the story of the different characters without having to redo the entire game with the controller in hand.
Three different modes will be included in The Quarry:
- Everybody Lives
- Everybody Dies
- Director’s Chair
The first two modes have a clear outcome: all characters live or die according to your choice. Regarding Director’s Chair, you will have to choose the desired behavior for each member of the cast. This will influence each choice made by the protagonists of the story and their final fate in the adventure.
