The FIFA 22 FUT Captains Event is finally here! Rumors and leaks about new FUT Heroes and a new event have been appearing for months, now EA Sports is launching the new promo with the release of FUT Captains Team 1. When and how do FUT Captains cards get an upgrade in FIFA 22?

FIFA 22 FUT Captains players get a very strong increase in their overall rating right after the release and in rare cases also a star upgrade for a special value such as weak foot or skill. FIFA 22 FUT Hero Captains – “FUT Captains” for short – is a brand new event that will spotlight former leaders and current captains from every club and national team in the world, giving them greatly improved FUT Captains and FUT Hero Captains cards donated in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. When is FUT Captains coming to FIFA 22?

• The FIFA 22 FUT Captains Event starts on Friday, April 8th, 2022 at 19:00 and lasts for two weeks. This brings the end of the FUT Captains Event in FIFA 22 to Friday 22 April 2022 at 19:00 CET. Around three to four dozen special cards are expected, which will be released in two teams of eleven Captains and four HERO Captains, two mini-releases and a number of SBCs. How to get FUT Captains players in FIFA 22

You can find FUT Captains players throughout the event in all packs that you get for FIFA 22 FUT Coins and FIFA Points (players’ normal and heroes cards will be replaced during this time). What are FUT Captains cards and why are they special?
