Veolia has announced the upcoming launch of a novel industrial solution for producing CO2-neutral biofuel from paper pulp. The idea is to produce, on an industrial scale, a new sustainable fuel source to replace conventional fossil fuels. All this will take place in Finland, starting in 2024. After sugar beet, rapeseed and palm oil, paper pulp could now be an alternative source of energy for transportation.
