With several million players since its launch, Back 4 Blood is naturally preparing to launch its first expansion. That’s good, it is illustrated in a first video.
To keep its 10 million followers, Back 4 Blood has prepared a whole post-launch program. The first DLC planned in the cooperative FPS roadmap in the vein of Left 4 Dead is coming very soon. History to maintain the flame, Warner Bros unveils its launch trailer.
Back 4 Blood DLC Overview
It’s time for players to experience the first DLC for Back 4 Blood. Warner Bros and Turtle Rock Studios had already confirmed the release of this first expansion for April 12 at 7 p.m. We now know exactly what is on the paid additional content menu, unless you have fallen for the Ultimate and Deluxe editions or even for the Season Pass. The publisher has unveiled a first trailer giving a preview of the two new playable Cleaners
Sharice is an axe-wielding firefighter as a defense-first person. Heng, on the other hand, is a seasoned restaurateur skilled at slicing through the infested with his kitchen knife. The video also takes us into the depths of Infested Hives, a new cooperative PvE activity. Here teams of four players will descend into seven dungeons made up of labyrinthine tunnels filled with monsters. To hope to emerge with exclusive rewards, you will have to face three new Deformed Infested: the Urchins throwing antipersonnel mines, the Shredders and the fearsome Rippers which inflict enormous damage. All these new variants will also be playable in Swarm mode in PvP.
Free content for everyone
Back 4 Blood Extension 1: Tunnels of Terror will also include its share of new items. The DLC also comes with 8 new character skins and 12 weapon skins. Players will mostly be looking to get the 7 new legendary weapons from new maps.
A new free update will be deployed at the same time as the release of the extension. It will bring, among other things, an additional difficulty level (No Hope), which should add a good dose of challenge for elite players. Notable detail, and not least, all the content of the paid extension will be accessible to all players in the group if one of them is in possession of the DLC. A good way to share it with friends and get them back on the game.
