Following the iWork package update, Apple also updated the Apple Support app to version 4.6. This update makes the app available to Business Essentials customers with Apple Care+ and improves productivity.

Apple Business Essentials helps small businesses with employee onboarding when setting up, deploying, and managing Apple products. It launched for smaller US companies last week, and Apple is now updating the Apple Support app to reflect this announcement.

Support is now available for customers with AppleCare+ for Business Essentials Performance improvements and bug fixes

Apple is indeed promoting Care+ for Business Essentials customers. As explained by Bradley Chamber of , an important part of Apple Business Essentials is the AppleCare+ option as part of the subscription. The plans are as follows:

$9.99/month: One device, 50GB storage, one repair. credit, on-site repair (see below for which devices), and 24/7 end-user support $19.99 per month: up to 3 devices per user, 200 GB of storage, two repair credits, on-site repair (see below, which devices) and 7 end user support $24.99 per month: up to 3 devices per user, 2TB storage, two repair credits, on-site repair (see which devices below), and 24/7 end user support.

On-Site Repair is available with AppleCare+ for Business Essentials plans in Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, New York, and the San Francisco Bay Area.

It’s important to remember that the last time Apple updated the Support app, it included new features for getting estimates for the cost of common repairs, as well as new ways to explain your device’s problem by getting “relevant support options.”
