Ester Ledecka of the Czech Republic became the first woman to win back-to-back parallel giant slalom Olympic titles by cruising over the line almost without challenge. Ledecka, 26, bettered Austria’s Daniela Ulbing who slid out and took silver at the Beijing Winter Games on Tuesday.
