IT House April 8 news, the “Hibernate Tabs” feature in Microsoft Edge is designed to increase the browser’s memory and CPU usage, and save system resources to improve speed and responsiveness, Microsoft Edge will not be used for a period of time. Microsoft said in a blog post today that starting with Microsoft Edge 100, a new sleep tab feature has been updated to put pages that share an instance of the browser with another page to sleep.

IT Home understands that due to this design, the Edge browser will bring an average 8% improvement in sleep tab performance, saving resources even more. According to reports, each sleep tab can save Microsoft Edge 85% of memory and 99% of CPU resources on average.

Previously, Microsoft also added a way, you can now see how much memory this feature saves you via “Performance” under the “…” (“Settings and more”) menu.
