As in March 2022 for Community Day with Sandan and Alola Sandan, the developers of Pokémon Go want to provide a large number of cities around the world with photo points again in April 2022 for Community Day with Velursi. These photo spots will be set up during Community Day and can be visited free of charge. And maybe there will be a gift too!
the Pokémon Go Community Day on April 23, 2022 with Velursi is getting closer and Niantic has decided to continue the “Community Day Meetups” event and bring Pokémon Go players together again in real life. On Community Day with Velursi, there will again be photo points in selected cities where coaches can get together and, if you want, get to know other players. Of course, Community Day takes place all over the world. So if you don’t live in the photo point cities or if the drive is too far: don’t worry, you can still catch a lot of Velursi!

Niantic and sustainability
The developers of Pokémon Go want to set an example for more sustainability. Together with a non-profit partner organization (i.e. an organization that is not aimed at profit), Niantic wants to plant a tree for every trainer who runs five kilometers with Velursi as a partner Pokémon on Community Day. The upper cost limit for developers is 100,000 US dollars. So, put on good shoes and let’s go!
