In this period of scarcity concerning the news of the FPS, it is sometimes necessary to search to find what to feed the site and to offer you reading. This is how we (re)discovered Shadows of Doubt: an FPS that offers you to carry out investigations in a procedurally generated city. It’s developed by one person, Cole Jefferies and currently still in pre-alpha. The developer did, however, post a 20-minute video showing the concept of the game in more detail.

If all this means something to you, congratulations, you are an avid reader of NoFrag, because it is word for word the beginning of the news of our dear Fcp who spoke about it three years ago… So, what’s new in 2022 ? Well it’s prettier, the inhabitants of the city have different clothes, we see new mechanics and it’s not the same mission. As at the time, the concept looks frankly nice, even if it still lacks a little “hemoglobin and action”.

Shadow of Doubt still doesn’t have a release date. A laconic “When it’s ready” is displayed on its page Steam. If you’re interested, the developer is holding a blog on which he discusses technical aspects of the game.
