Now it’s clear that both Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne will get remakes.
The new versions of the classic action games will be developed by Remedy Entertainment, which also made the original games. Max Payne is today owned by Rockstar Games, which has hired Remedy to make the new versions. The project will be the size of Remedy’s other AAA productions such as Control.
According to Rockstar’s press release, the new versions are currently in the concept stage. It is unclear when the games will be released.
