The Carnival City hotel in Gauteng’s East Rand has been safely evacuated after a fire broke out Saturday afternoon. The Carnival City Casino and Entertainment World is where the hotel is located. Videos circulating on social media showed people fleeing for their life from an entertainment complex that included a casino and restaurants, among other things.
