Just under two weeks before Easter, Italian confectionery group Ferrero is preventively recalling some batches of various children’s chocolate products in Germany – including Kinder Surprise Eggs – due to a possible link to a salmonella outbreak. About 63 people in Britain, mostly young children, had fallen ill with a salmonella infection, Britain’s PA news agency reported earlier.
