Authorities have identified the motorist killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Red Bank. Adil Ahmed, 56, of Middletown, was driving an SUV that collided with a pickup truck on Route 35 near the intersection with Rector Place shortly after 10 a.m., according to Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Mark Spivey Ahmed was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup, a 63-year-old Long Branch man, was not seriously injured and cooperated with investigators.
