A social media user has chastised police officials for allegedly refusing to relocate the body of an old woman who died in her shanty hut in Nairobi’s Korogocho slums. Since KPLC switched off electricity in the slums and seized all the transformers, the ill woman is alleged to have perished alone in the dark. Since the area MCA died a few weeks ago after a long illness, the locals are living in complete darkness, and no one is speaking out about their predicament.
