By using a global electric car platform and Ultium’s battery technology, General Motors and Honda will jointly develop electric cars. The first will be launched in 2027 and the cars that will be built will be compact crossovers, but models in other categories will also be offered, but the common denominator will be that they will be affordable. GM invests $ 154 million in 112-year-old factory

Honda recently announced that it aims to sell only electric or fuel cell cars in the major car markets by 2040. Honda also has plans to improve its driver assistance system by 2030 with the goal that no one will have to die in traffic due to car or motorcycle collisions by 2050. Honda will invest around five trillion yen in research and development initiatives over the next six years.

Honda is now showing a short clip on e: Ny1, which is an electric prototype that will be launched in production form next year.
