By Alex Lang New York (Knewz) — A majority of Americans don’t mind paying for increased costs in everyday items in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, but most agree that sending American troops is a step too far. A recent survey by the University of Maryland found that about 80 percent said its “very important” that Ukraine remains an independent country. But, about 66 percent said they oppose sending troops to Ukraine alongside NATO allies.
