A reconciliation meeting was held in Abuja between factions of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kano State, North West Nigeria. The meeting, which was convened at the request of Mai Mala-Buni, chairman of the caretaker/extraordinary convention planning committee (CECPC), lasted around six hours. Senator Ibrahim Shekarau and Governor Abdullahi Ganduje were present during the meeting. Except for Kano and Sokoto, Mai Mala Buni inaugurated the state chairpersons.
