Inspired by tabletop games, RPG Citizen Sleeper is coming to Xbox consoles with Xbox Game Pass in May.
Fellow Traveler released a new trailer for Citizen Sleeper, the RPG developed by Jump Over the Age, and states that the game will be released on May 5th for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
The game will also be directly playable via Xbox Game Pass subscription at launch.
Adorned with Guillaume Singlelin’s stunning character graphics, the story-driven Citizen Sleeper is set on the devastated space station Erlin’s Eye. There, thousands try to survive on the fringes of a capitalist interstellar society.
You play as a Sleeper, a digitized human consciousness in an artificial body owned by a company that wants you back.
You make friends between the strange and dazzling inhabitants of the metropolis, earn your daily bread and have contact with the factions.
features
- Action Dice: Each cycle, you roll your dice and assign them to a variety of actions available on the station. With each, choose what and who is important to you to shape the lives of those around you and ultimately the future of the station.
- Ticking Clocks: Clocks track both your actions and the actions of others on the station. Whether you’re in the Overlook Bar or protecting a friend from Yatagan lawmen, clocks allow you to track your progress and impact on the world around you.
- Gear and Skills: You don’t complete quests, but rather follow drives that allow you to choose important stories and activities. This is how you shape your character’s five skills, Engineer, Interface, Endure, Intuit, and Engage, to unlock perks and bonuses that reflect and shape your way of life in this world.
