Support operations for the Ukrainian people have not been lacking for more than a month and Epic Games notably announced the launch of a major operation two weeks ago: all income collected between March 20 and April 3 would go be donated to organizations supporting Ukrainian refugees. Results ? Over $100 million raised and concrete help generated by the Fortnite community.

A welcome help in these troubled times
This is not the first time that the video game has managed to bring together a large number of players for a good cause and this operation carried out by Epic Games through Fortnite is the perfect example. Announced just over two weeks ago, this harvest fueled by in-game purchases has raised less than $144 million.
This sum will be donated to Direct Relief, UNICEF, World Food Programme, World Central Kitchen and the UN Refugee Agency. We can only welcome this approach on the part of the giant Epic Games, which has succeeded in raising awareness among its community and using its financial capacities and influence wisely.
“We warmly thank all those who have joined us in supporting humanitarian relief efforts for those affected by the war in Ukraine. Together with the Fortnite community and @Xbox we raised $144 million for DirectRelief, UNICEF, World Food Programme, UN Refugee Agency and WCKitchen. »
