Since March 28, the Shanghai authorities have introduced the strictest quarantine regime in two years. During this lockdown, the entire population must stay at home and be tested for covid.
To patrol areas, the Chinese do not use people, but robots in the form of dogs. These robops are similar to Boston Dynamics’ SPOT, but they are the Chinese version of them.
The robotic dogs wear loudspeakers on their backs, from which a recorded voice warns of the need to observe self-isolation, wash their hands and measure the temperature.
It looks like real cyberpunk.
