Nintendo has just released the latest firmware update for the Nintendo Switch. All console owners can get their hands on version 14.1.0.
Those looking for major additions will be disappointed. Users will find new “Platinum Points Notification Settings” where they can be notified of unclaimed points under the My Nintendo rewards program. The official patch notes for the Switch firmware update version 14.1.0 are as follows:
- “Platinum Points Notification Settings” has been added under Notifications in System Settings.
Unclaimed Platinum Points earned by completing Nintendo Switch Online missions on your Nintendo Switch console will generate notifications. Nintendo Switch Online missions and rewards are not available in some countries and regions.
- Setting these notifications to OFF will hide the notification sent when there are unclaimed Platinum Points.
Although we received version 14.1.0 today, the last update for the Switch console was not very long ago. On March 21, version 14.0.0 was released. Groups, which are a different version of Wii U/3DS Folders, have been added so users can organize and access games more easily in the Home Menu. We have all the group details and patch notes for 14.0.0. just here.
