Detectives from the Transnational and Organized Crime Unit rescued twenty-nine Ethiopian nationals suspected of being victims of human trafficking yesterday. Based on intelligence tips, sleuths at the DCI Headquarters tracked down the victims to a house in Nairobi’s Sunrise estate, Donholm neighborhood. The officers discovered the victims locked up in one room, looking distressed and unsure of their next destination, after obtaining entry to the property.
