Ulisses Spiele and developer Owned by Gravity have announced Forgotten Fables: Wolves on the Westwind, a new visual novel based on The Dark Eye.

This is to be released in May first via Steam and Gamesplanet on the PC, “shortly afterwards” also on iOS devices.

An old danger

Wolves on the Westwind is about an ancient threat that ravages the region of Thorwal. You end up in the midst of this danger and of course you must ultimately force evil and secure the peace.

You can choose between two different characters, each with their own background story. You can choose between the experienced warrior Alrik and the young sorceress Nedime.

“Aboard the pirate ship Wolfsfang, players will travel across the northern lands, forging alliances with or antagonizing the unusual crew and meeting a variety of fantastic characters along the way.” “Every decision counts, bringing players closer to glorious victory or crushing defeat.”

Make decisions in Aventuria

Your decisions affect the course of the journey, the characters and the ending. More than 15 hours of playing time are promised, with different narrative chapters.

There are also several alternate endings and side quests that depend on your choices, encouraging you to delve into it over multiple playthroughs. There are also subtle RPG elements such as spells, unique maneuvers, astral and life points.

Forgotten Fables: Wolves on the Westwind will be priced at €17.99.
