Veteran pro-democracy activist Koo Sze-yiu was arrested under the national security law on Friday morning, reportedly for suspected incitement of subversion. Police confirmed with HKFP that Koo was detained early on Friday. The 70-year-old has taken part in political rallies organised by pro-democracy party League of Social Democrats, but is not officially a member.
