They cut some more earlier today, trading promising lefthanded starting pitcher Sean Manaea to the San Diego Padres. That makes four quality players Oakland has shipped away this offseason, with Manaea joining infielders Matt Olson and Matt Chapman and pitcher Chris Bassitt. Keep in mind, this is a team that won 86 games last season and made the playoffs three-straight years from 2018 to 2020.
