New Jersey on Sunday reported seven confirmedCOVID-19 deaths and 1,213 positive tests as the state’s total confirmed cases surpassed 1.9 million. There were 361 patients with confirmed or suspected coronavirus cases across 66 of the state’s 71 hospitals as of Saturday night. Hospitalizations hit a recent peak at 6,089 on Jan. 10 during the omicron wave. There were at least 72 people discharged in that same 24-hour period, according tostate data.
