NEW YORK — The Beard is an All-Star once again. Nets guard James Harden was named an All-Star reserve for the Eastern Conference, the NBA announced Thursday. It’s Harden’s 10th selection to the mid-season showcase, though he has struggled as of late during the Nets’ winter slide down the conference standings. Harden is still averaging 22.5 points, 8 assists and 10.2 rebounds for the 29-22 Nets, who currently hold the East’s sixth seed. Teammate Kevin Durant was earlier named the captain of the East squad.
