Huge databases with SMS codes of many well-known companies and online services have been found on the network. This is written in Rozetked with a link to the Telegram channel about leaks.
The database weighing about 4.5 terabytes was discovered by specialists from Data Leakage & Breach Intelligence. The Elasticsearch data was located on an open server in the Amazon cloud storage under US jurisdiction. The database contains many SMS codes, including one-time codes that were sent to clients of Google, Microsoft, OZON, Tinkoff, Aeroflot, Yula and other companies. In addition, experts found SMS messages from Arab banks in the archive.
Apparently, both the server itself and its content belong to a service that provides SMS services to brands. Experts note that one of the database indexes continues to be updated with new codes. Most likely, this leak does not pose a danger to users, since it contains only “used” codes, however, only experts can give a reliable conclusion about the dangers of the drain.
